The program is offered in cooperation with Euclid High School. (Euclid is a suburb of Cleveland and a neighboring community of Wickliffe.) Any African American student who graduates from Euclid High School is eligible. A panel of judges selects the scholarship recipients. The student must attend a 4-year college or university, Preference is given to students majoring in science, math, engineering or management information systems. Employees in Painesville, Ohio serve as 2nd grade reading tutors at Huntington and Lathop Elementary Schools. At La Port Elementary School in Texas, employees volunteer as mentors to "at risk" students.
